Why Does Evil Seem to Rule?

I beat my fist against the sky

feeling powerless, I wonder why?

Why does evil seem to rule?

Why are people being so cruel?

How can we fight this strangling hold?

How can we escape, when evil seems so bold?

Who can we turn to and ask why?

He Who's on His throne and standing by.

When will sanity to this world return?

When we hold the line, and lessons are learned.

I know at times it seems like evil rules the land.

When God seems silent, it doesn't mean He's

not aware of what is happening on this planet.

God knows all and sees all.

In His timing, He will right the wrongs.

God is ultimately in control.

Just hold the line.
