Autumn is the Time of Fall

Hot hazy temperatures fall
changing leaves fall
the sun falls...
earlier beyond the horizon, setting summertime asleep...
till next season
It’s now time for fall’s autumn ball
when leaves dance in the cool crisp sky.
They twirl round and around till they
touch the ground.
It’s now time for porch steps to display their glowing pumpkins’ faces,
shining light in the dark of night.
It’s time to pick apples from ripe trees,
and make cider ever so sweet to the
tongue and the soul.
It’s time for jackets to surround us with warmth
from the cool crisp nights.
It's time for cups of hot chocolate to warm our bodies inside,
along with stories told by family and friends to warm our souls.
As we gather around an inviting bond fire,
it’s time to give thanks to God
for all the blessings He has so lovingly bestowed on us
in all of life’s seasons.

It's been a couple of months now since my last blog.
I'm looking forward to posting new blogs in hopes to
inspire others
with more poems and food for thought.
I hope that what you read will
help you and that you
share His Love with others.
Before I was posting every day.
I think I'll cut that down a bit.
Any suggestions?
