Which Fabric Will You Wear?

Which one will you wear yourself?

The choice is yours on what to decide,

So you are covered from all sides?

The first is the fabric of humility,

Where you think first of others and how they see.

Modestly dressed, you are well covered.

Woven in its fabric, love is discovered.

The other choice is the fabric of pride;

It’s all about you and how you feel inside.

Others are merely rungs on a ladder,

To step to the top, and only you matter.

But what goes up in pride, will come crashing down.

When you hit the bottom, humiliation is found.
