The Blabbering Babbling Brook
A babbling brook it does tell
Of paths it knows oh so well.
It spills its secrets as it freely flows;
Telling what’s hidden; telling what it knows.
Stories of old and ones that are current;
It's ever moving and so observant.
Of muddied pasts, it makes clear,
Mistakes that were made that cost so dear.
As others go astray, it stays on course;
Blabbing others wrongs without remorse.
So stay out of the stream and the path where it flows.
Stay away from the brook and wherever it goes.
If your paths do cross, take the bridge overhead,
But stay away from the brook and its telling bed.
