Slavery’s Cell

Just what holds you captive?  Why can’t you escape?

Who has sealed your doom?  Who has sealed your fate?

The bars are invisible, yet you’re locked in place.

So afraid to move, fear frozen on your face.

Who’s caused you to fear? Who’s caused you to dread?

Didn’t you know in Jesus’ Name, Satan’s power is dead?

Satan tries to hold you in Fear’s false cell,

but Jesus has broken down, the brazen bars of Hell.

All you have to do, is put your trust in Him.

Ask Him to forgive you, for each and every sin.

Then use the Word as a Sword, to cut the bars of Fear,

and peacefully walk out, knowing He is always near.
