Mistakes Are Not Our Enemies

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, for mistakes can be
very valuable tools we can use to build a better future.
Through mistakes, we gain experience
that books could never teach.
Mistakes help shape us into
who we are today.
Through our mistakes, we learn
to better understand the mistakes of others.
They humble us and help us
keep things in proper perspective.
Mistakes are not our enemies.
Pride; however, is our enemy.
For Pride thinks he is above mistakes.
That mistakes are made by others
who are beneath him.
The irony is Pride makes the biggest mistake of all.
If you cannot admit you’ve made a mistake,
then you cannot learn from them.
You are doomed to repeat them,
unable to grow into the person you were
truly meant to be.
