I Love Spring!

I love spring!
The warm air is filled with the smell
of fresh fragrant flowers.
Birds so full of joy,
they burst into
harmonious melodies,
as they glide across the sky.
They swoop down
to the soft green grass
picking up small twigs
to ready their nests
for new life.
The zombie-like trees
rejuvenate by unfolding
vibrant-veined leaves
springing with various
shades of green.
The babbling brook giggles,
as it races down along its path.
It's blowing bubbles,
as if to carry a conversation
with the very fish following
wherever the babbling brook
may lead.
