Hope, Why Are You So Quiet?

Hope, why are you so quiet?  Why don’t you just speak?

Of future’s possibilities, of successes that we seek?

Why are your bright eyes closed as if in mortal sleep?

Why do you remain silent; your secrets to forever keep?

I know you’ll live forever as mentioned in God’s Word,

but you seem so distant now, and this world has gone absurd.

Perhaps I am searching where I just should not.

Perhaps I need to remember what I just forgot.

You must be with your best friends living way above.

When I find them, I’ll find you with Faith and with Love.
