Do You See Me?

Do you see me, or my outer shell?
Outside I’m smiling, but inside a torturous hell!
Can you see the tears, on my soul’s sad face?
Or are they invisible, unseen without a trace?
Do you hear me sorely cry, though I say not a single word?
Do you know what storms tossed inside, and ominously occurred?
When will the sun come out, and dry the driving rain?
Soon I hope, for if not, I fear I’ll go insane!

There are many hurting souls out there, and sometimes
we are so caught up with our busy lives that we don't notice.
We should never be so busy that we forget to
show God's love to others. We can do that by taking
a few minutes to truly listen with an open heart.
Let them know that they are not alone.
