Awaken Bravery

Timid lamb trembling,

Afraid to take a stand;

Go to sleep inside me,

 With the grains of sifting sand.

Mighty lioness awaken! 

It’s time to hear you roar.

Mighty eagle who lives within me;

 It’s time for you to soar.

Timid mouse step aside,

 And don’t get in the way!

 Bravery take a stand,

 And see the light of day.

No longer will I cower; 

No longer will I fear.

It’s time to stand for freedom,

 And for all that I hold dear.
